Spam filter in Datamolino protects you from unwanted emails getting processed in your folder. If you have a new supplier, client or colleague emailing documents to your folder, first the emailed documents stop and you need to approve them (unless you previously added their email address to the ‘Email whitelist’ in folder settings).

Datamolino periodically deletes emails in the spam filter that have not been approved for processing for more than one year.

How do I know if there are any unresolved emails in the spam filter?

To find out, please look for the small envelope next to the folder name. If you do not see it, it means no emails need to be resolved and you are fine.

If you have multiple folders in your main dashboard, you can use the below filter:

This change won’t affect any other content in your folders, just the unapproved emails in the spam filter older than one year. If you resolve emails in the spam filter on a regular basis, this change should not affect you at all.

Please note:

Before June 2021, Datamolino was not permanently deleting emails in the spam filter. This has now changed and the first deletion is planned for June 30, 2021.
