Cancel your subscription

How account owners cancel a Datamolino subscription and what happens to billing, access, and data afterward.

Written by Lubica Jakubac

Before you cancel

👉 Who can cancel the subscription?

The cancellation flow is designed for the account owner. If you do not own the account, contact the owner to take action.

👉 What if I own more than one account?

The automated cancellation menu can only safely handle one owned account. If you own more than one account, contact support so the correct account can be handled.

👉 Should I export my data first?

Yes. If you need copies of your documents, reports, or account data, export them before cancellation is completed. Learn more about exporting your data.

To cancel your Datamolino subscription:

What happens after cancellation

👉 Is a paid account deleted immediately?

No. If you have a paid account, cancellation comes into effect in the following calendar month.

👉 What happens to a non-paying account?

Non-paying (trial) accounts are deleted immediately. In that case, the user account is also deleted and you are signed out.

👉 Will there be a final invoice?

There may be a final invoice, depending on your billing type and usage.

  • Older accounts on post paid plans will receive one last invoice on the 1st of the following month.

  • Pre-paid accounts might receive one last invoice on the 1st of the following month if they generated an extra usage.

Access to data after cancellation

👉 Can I still access my data after cancelling?

Paid accounts will retain access 30 days after the cancellation period ends, then all data will be permanently deleted.

👉 What should I do before the account is deleted?

Export anything you need to keep. Once the account data is permanently deleted, it cannot be restored through the normal cancellation flow.

👉 Where can I see previous billing cycles before cancelling?

You can review usage and invoices in History of Billing Cycles.
