Log in to Datamolino (password, Xero/Intuit SSO)

How to log in to Datamolino with email and password or with Xero/Intuit SSO, and what to expect during login.

Logging in with email and password

👉 How do I log in to Datamolino?

Go to the Datamolino login page and enter your email address and password. Once your credentials are accepted, you will be redirected to the app - or to the 2FA verification step if two-factor authentication is enabled on your account.

👉 I didn't receive email confirmation link

You must confirm your email address before you can log in. When you register, Datamolino sends a confirmation email to the address you provided. Click the link in that email to activate your account. If you did not receive it, check your spam folder or contact support@datamolino.com.

👉 I forgot my password

For password reset, follow this link. Note that Datamolino password reset will only work if password authentication is enabled for your account.

👉 What happens after too many failed login attempts?

Datamolino uses account lockout to protect against repeated incorrect password attempts. After a number of failed tries, your account is temporarily locked. If this happens, contact support@datamolino.com for assistance.

Logging in via Single Sign-On (Xero or Intuit)

If you have a Xero or Intuit (QuickBooks Online) account, you can use Single Sign-On (SSO) to log in to Datamolino. SSO lets you authenticate using your Xero or Intuit credentials instead of a separate Datamolino password.

👉 How do I log in with Xero or Intuit?

On the Datamolino login page, click Sign in with Xero or Sign in with Intuit. You will be redirected to Xero or Intuit to authenticate. Once confirmed, you are brought back into Datamolino automatically.

👉 Does SSO login bypass two-factor authentication?

Yes. When you log in via Xero or Intuit SSO, Datamolino does not ask for a 2FA code. The authentication is handled entirely by Xero or Intuit - the 2FA step only appears for email and password logins.

👉 Why don’t I see the Xero or Intuit login buttons?

These buttons are always visible on the login page. If you are having trouble locating them, try navigating directly here . If the page is not loading correctly, see Sign-in errors for troubleshooting steps.

Two-factor authentication at login

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is required for all paid Datamolino users who log in with email and password. If 2FA is enabled on your account, you will see an additional verification step after entering your password.

👉 What happens after I enter my password?

If 2FA is enabled, Datamolino shows a verification screen. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app, or click Send code to email if you have email backup 2FA enabled. Once the correct code is entered, you are logged in.

👉 What is the "Trust this device for 29 days" option?

When completing 2FA, you can choose to trust your current device. If you do, Datamolino skips the 2FA step on that device for 29 days. This is useful on a personal computer you use regularly. Avoid using it on shared or public devices.

👉 I lost access to my authenticator app

There are several recovery options depending on your account setup:

  1. using an SSO login if your email address is linked to Xero or Intuit

  2. requesting a code by email

  3. using a backup code saved when you set up 2FA.
