To export a document as a quote to Xero, change the Export to field to Quotes.

To set up all documents of a supplier to export as Quotes, go to Automation and change the Export endpoint field to Quotes.
π How do I set up all documents in a folder to export as Xero Quotes?
To set up all documents in a folder to export as Quotes, go to Folder Menu - Accounting & Automation and then:
Update the setting for new suppliers / customers in Integration
Update all existing suppliers / customers in Automation contacts
π Can I apply a markup before exporting the quote?
We do not support automatic markup, however you can use the built-in calculator in each amount field in Datamolino to easily add a markup.
Quote fields and how they are populated
Datamolino maps specific fields from your document to the corresponding fields in the Xero quote.
π Which contact is used on the quote?
The contact you selected in Datamolino is used on the Xero quote.
π What date appears on the quote?
The issue date on the quote is taken from the due date captured in Datamolino. You can automate this using Datamolino's due date calculation settings β options include a fixed day of the month, or a set number of days after the issue date or import date.
π Can I control the quote number?
No. The quote number is generated and assigned by Xero, not Datamolino.
π What appears in the reference field on the quote?
The reference field is populated with the invoice number extracted from the document. If no invoice number is present, the field will be empty.

π Is the original document attached to the quote in Xero?
Datamolino doesn't send the original file through to Xero when exporting as a quote.
