What Bulk Review is for
Bulk Review lets you change the same field on many documents at once, directly from the document list in a folder. It is the fastest way to apply shared coding - the same account code, the same tax code, the same tracking category - to a group of documents without opening each one.
The fields you can edit in bulk depend on which accounting software the folder is connected to, because each integration has its own set of coding fields. The selection and edit flow itself is the same on every folder.
👉 When should I use Bulk Review instead of opening each document?
Use Bulk Review when multiple documents need the same coding - for example, a batch of invoices from the same supplier that all need the same account code, or end-of-month receipts that all share a tracking category. If each document needs different coding, opening them individually is usually faster.
👉 Can I bulk export from Bulk Review?
Yes. Once you've edited your documents, you can export directly from Bulk Review - either by supplier group or all at once.
Selecting documents for Bulk Review
Select the documents you want to edit using the checkboxes, or select all at once using the top checkbox. When Bulk Review opens, documents are grouped by supplier. Green means the document is fully coded and ready to export; red means something still needs attention. Select documents to edit individually or by supplier group, make your changes, and export directly from the screen - either by supplier group or all at once.
👉 Can I select documents across different folders?
No. Bulk Review works inside a single folder. If you need to edit documents from different folders, work through them one folder at a time.
👉 Can I bulk review documents in any tab?
No - Bulk Review is only available in the Ready tab.

What happens after a bulk edit
Once the bulk edit applies, each affected document is updated with the new values and saved. The documents stay in their current status - they are not exported, not archived, and not moved as a result of the edit. You can carry on coding them, run another bulk edit on a different field, or move on to exporting them.
👉 Can I undo a bulk edit?
There is no one-click undo. Each document is updated as a normal edit, so to roll back you need to set the field back to its previous value - either by editing the documents individually or by running another bulk edit with the original value. The document history records each change. Learn more about document history and the audit trail.
