This article explains how to set up scheduled reports in Datamolino, including who can access the feature, what report types are available, how to manage mailing rules, and how recipient access works.
How do I set up a scheduled report?
Scheduled reports are configured in the Account Management section of Datamolino. Each report is tied to a mailing rule, which defines the report type, delivery frequency, and email subject.
Go to Account management -> Scheduled reports.
Enter the email addresses of the recipients.
Click Add mailing rule.
Select the Report type you'd like them to receive.
Select the Send-out schedule: Every morning / Every Monday / First of month
Enter the E-mail subject.
Click on Save settings.
Who can set up scheduled reports?
Only the account owner and account managers can access the Scheduled reports section in Account management.
Who can receive the scheduled reports?
Any email address can be added as a recipient - recipients do not need to be Datamolino users.
What types of reports can be set up as scheduled reports?
You can schedule delivery of the following reports:
How often can scheduled reports be sent?
Each mailing rule can be set to one of three delivery frequencies:
Every morning
Every Monday
First of month
Will recipients only see data for folders they have access to?
No, scheduled reports are not filtered by folder access rights. Each recipient receives the report for all folders under the account, regardless of their individual access permissions. Keep this in mind when adding recipients.
How can I set up more than one scheduled report?
To add another report, click Add Mailing Rule in Scheduled Reports. Each mailing rule you add is sent to all recipients listed in the Scheduled Reports section.
Can I exclude a recipient from one specific mailing rule?
No, it is not possible to exclude a recipient from an individual mailing rule. All mailing rules apply to all recipients listed in Scheduled Reports. If you need different recipients for different reports, this is not currently supported.
How can I delete a scheduled report?
To delete a scheduled report, click Delete next to the relevant mailing rule.
