We’ve added a few useful updates this month - each one aimed at making your document handling a little smoother and your financial records more complete. Here’s what’s new:
👉 Archive Folders You’re Not Actively Using
If there are folders you no longer use but still need to keep, you can now archive them. This helps keep your main dashboard clean and focused, without losing access to any past data. Archived folders are still accessible whenever you need them, just not front and centre.
👉 Locked Tracking Categories for Xero
When using Xero Tracking Categories, you can now lock them in Datamolino. Once locked, the selected categories won’t be overwritten during processing - helping you keep your financial details consistent and free from accidental changes.
👉 Export Supporting Emails to Xero or QuickBooks
You can now include supporting emails when exporting documents to your accounting system. This helps preserve context, like approval chains or clarifications, right alongside your documents - making it easier for others to follow the full story.
👉 Export Bank Statements Directly to FreeAgent
If you work with FreeAgent, you can now send extracted bank statement data directly from Datamolino. This helps reduce manual entry and speeds up your reconciliation process.
