Export your supporting email communication to Xero or Quickbooks

How to export emails to Xero or Quickbooks as supporting documents.

If you'd like to export supporting email communication for a document to Xero or Quickbooks, there is now a new way to do so for documents that were emailed into Datamolino. E.g. When the email thread contains important approvals.

To turn supporting email communication into an extra attachment to be exported with the main document to Xero or Quickbooks, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Show email on the document detail page.

  2. Click on Attach to document.

  3. Refresh the page. The email communication should show as a PDF attachment beneath the main document.

  4. Export as normal.

  5. The document will be visible in your Xero or Quickbooks. See examples below.
