This November, we’ve introduced features to manage rounding differences and billable expenses for Xero, and we’ve also added support for non-VAT QuickBooks users. Take a look at all features that are new.

👉 Solve Rounding Differences: Adjustment Line (Xero)

Handling rounding differences just got easier. You can now automatically add an adjustment line for small rounding differences when exporting to Xero. This ensures your invoice totals match perfectly, saving you time on manual corrections.

👉 Assign Billable Expenses on Line Item Level or Invoice Summary (Xero)

Managing billable expenses in Xero? You can now mark them as billable at the line item level or in the invoice summary directly in Datamolino, syncing automatically with Xero. This makes expense management simpler without needing extra steps.

👉 Use Exact Amount to Search Documents

We’ve simplified how you search by exact amounts in Datamolino. Previously, you had to enter the amount twice to refine results. Now, there’s a new 'Use Exact Amount' checkbox that does the work for you. Just tick the box and find what you’re looking for—faster and easier.

👉 Purchase Order (PO) Field in Document Detail

We’ve introduced a PO (Purchase Order) field in the document detail to support specific client workflows. However, it’s not automatically exported to Xero or QuickBooks. If you’d like to use the PO field with these platforms, let us know - we can help with workarounds that some clients are already using.

👉 Support for Non-VAT Registered QuickBooks Companies

If you’re working with a QuickBooks company set up as 'No VAT,' we’ve made updates to simplify how documents are exported to QuickBooks.

Two Helpful Additions

👉 Extended Export Automation Report

You can now generate automation reports for a longer period—quarterly instead of just monthly. This gives you a clearer overview of your activity over time.

👉 Increased Invoice Description Limit

Datamolino can now include up to 4,000 characters in the invoice description, giving you more space for detailed description of the invoice.

We Want to Hear from You!

If you have suggestions or ideas for features you'd like to see, let us know. We're here to make Datamolino work better for you 😊 🙌
