Reset 2FA / Lost authenticator / Can't access account / Access without 6 digit code

Use the Xero/Intuit sign in buttons to access your account

If you do not have access to your authenticator app to generate a 6 digit authenticator code, there are 3 options how you can sign in:

  1. Option 1: Sign in with Xero/Intuit

  2. Option 2: Get a one-off 6 digit code via email

  3. Option 3: Use back up codes

  4. Option 4: Contact us for an authenticator reset

Option 1: Sign in with Xero/Intuit

  • If you have a Xero or Intuit account with the same email address, click 'Sign in with Xero' or 'Sign in with Intuit' on our login page to bypass 2FA.​

Once you use the Sign in with Xero / Sign in with Intuit option, you will be required to log in that way. To switch back to email & password sign in, please contact us at support@datamolino.com.

Option 2: Get a one-off 6 digit code via email

Click on "Send code to email" when signing in to receive a one-off 6 digit code to your email address.

Option 3: Use back up codes

When setting up your authenticator, 3 backup codes were displayed on your screen to be safely stored in a place of your choosing. If you saved them, you can use one of them instead of a 6 digit code to sign in.

Once you've signed in, you can go to User profile - Security and disable your existing authentication using another of the backup codes.


Option 4: Contact us for an authenticator reset

If you don't have backup codes or can't use Sign in with Xero / Sign in with Intuit or one-off email codes, contact our support chat at support@datamolino.com to help you reset your authenticator.
