Datamolino applies service fees for specific advanced features to help streamline your workflow. Here’s a detailed breakdown of these fees and when they apply.

Invoice Split Fees

The Invoice Split fee applies when you use the Auto-split function, which detects if a file contains multiple bills or receipts and separates them into individual transactions.

👉 Optional Feature: You decide when to use this feature. Fees apply only when Auto-split is enabled.

👉When it’s charged:

  • The fee applies to every file you upload using the Auto-split function, even if the file contains only one invoice or receipt.

  • If a single file is split into multiple invoices or receipts (e.g., a file with 10 invoices is split into 10 separate transactions), the split fee is charged for each resulting transaction created by the split.

How to activate Auto-split:

  • By Email: Add “@split” in the subject line when sending files to Datamolino.

  • In the Web App: Choose the ‘Auto-split’ option when uploading files via the drag-and-drop interface.

Setting Auto-split as Default:

You can set Auto-split as the default option for a folder in Folder Preferences. This means all documents uploaded to that folder will automatically be split, and the fee will be applied to all files processed in this way.

Bank Statement Page Split Fees

This fee applies when Datamolino automatically splits multi-page bank statements into individual pages during processing.

👉 Automated Process: Unlike the Invoice Split fee, you don’t control this process—it happens automatically in the background to ensure accurate processing of multi-page bank statements.

👉 When it is charged: The fee applies for every split performed as part of processing bank statements.
