If you're a user with an existing Xero or Intuit account, you don't need to set up 2-factor Authentication (2FA). Instead, you have the option to use Single Sign-On (SSO). In this article, we'll guide you through enabling SSO, whether you currently have 2FA enabled or not.

1. Understanding Single Sign-On (SSO)

Single Sign-On allows you to use just one set of login credentials (the same one you use to sign in to your Xero/Intuit account) and simplifies your login process while maintaining security and eliminating the need for 2FA.

2. Enabling Single sign-on

Whether you currently have 2FA enabled or not, transitioning to SSO is straightforward:

  1. Log into your Datamolino account as usual.

  2. Navigate to your User Profile β€”> Security

  3. Inside you'll find the option to enable Single Sign-On.

NOTE: This option is available only if you've previously signed into Datamolino using Xero/Intuit.

3. Common Questions and Solutions

Q: I don't have the "Switch to Single sign-on" button available. What should I do?

To have the option to enable SSO in your user profile, you need to have initially signed in using Xero or Intuit πŸ‘‡

Q: What if I currently use 2FA, what happens after I transition to SSO?

Transitioning to SSO will override 2FA. You'll no longer need 2FA after switching to SSO.

Q: What if I forget my SSO login details?

If you forget your SSO login credentials, please reach out to Xero or Intuit for assistance with password recovery. If you need to urgently get into Datamolino, please contact support@datamolino.com

Q: I have SSO enabled but want to go back to the 2FA. Can I do that?

In this case, please contact our support at support@datamolino.com. We will be more than happy to assist you in the transition.
